Identified Buyer Campaign
At any given time, 20% of businesses are actually for sale. In realty, that number is probably much higher. When business owners are thinking about selling, very few of them actually take the next step and call a business acquisition broker. The fear of losing confidentiality is what keeps many small business owner from broadcasting that their business is for sale.
We target companies fitting your acquisition criteria who are willing to sell but have not yet offered their business for sale. There are many companies that would like to sell but don't believe they can get a deal done. Since these businesses are not currently on the market for sale, there is no competition with other potential buyers.
By reaching out to small business owners with our "Identified Buyer Campaign", we can help identify owners who are thinking about selling their businesses, but have been reluctant to do so. This is truly the best way to find a business not currently on the market for sale.
There is a small upfront retainer fee which is based on the number of targeted businesses selected.
Here is how the deal process works:
1. Determine and clarify your acquisition goals and needs. The buyer signs an Exclusive Search Agreement and Non Disclosure and Confidentiality Agreement. 2. Develop necessary documentation and marketing materials that introduce you anonymously. We highlight you as a potential buyer along with your distinct advantages, uniqueness and financial ability to purchase their business. 3. Execute an extensive local or national search to reach business owners who meet your criteria. 4. Select from a list of potential targets, businesses you want to pursue. 5. Conduct calls and meeting with potential business targets and determine the business owner's willingness to sell. Broker signs a Non Disclosure and Confidentiality Agreement with the Seller. 6.
